As 2020 comes to a close, I wanted to say THANK YOU for your support and participation in being a part of my PIVOT this past year. Whether it was August + September Games, Basketball Training, or Buzzardball Games, we found a way to have some fun.
I am grateful to each and every one of you. This community blows me away. I love Sacramento. I had the ideas, but it took families like yours to help make them happen.
The Covid-19 pandemic devastated the worlds I know well ... DJ, auctioneering, and basketball for our kids. But I feel like I have learned so much about myself, have been inspired daily, and am excited for what is ahead. The things I know will come back. In addition, there are some new and exciting things on the horizon.
With that said ...
I will continue to do small group training for kids going into the new year. This has been a lot of fun! Basketball, Flag Football, Kickball. Just helping families keep their kids moving.
My food delivery service called BuzzDrop will continue in 2021.
With the Winter Basketball League cancelled, my aim is toward either a Spring Basketball League or setting my sights on Summer Camp 2021!
And new in 2021 ... I will be launching a PODCAST. That's right. Something I have wanted to do and I have decided to dive in. The premise is to interview prominent people in the Sacramento area. Right now I am trying to come up with a name so if you have any great ideas ... feed them my way. I already have a guest list of 50 people. Excited!
I know 2020 as a whole is a year to forget. I hope there was something or some things you were able to pull out of this year and use as momentum as we prepare for a much anticipated New Year. Bring on 2021! Happy New Year to you and your family.
